Oklahoma Fishing Report for November 26, 2015

CENTRAL

Hefner: November 24. Elevation normal, water 55-57 and clear. Walleye good on grubs and live bait along riprap and the canal mouth. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on lipless baits and sassy shad around points and riprap. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around docks and riprap. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and stinkbait along riprap. Report submitted by Lucky Lure Tackle.

NORTHEAST

Kaw: November 23. Elevation normal, water 48 and stained. White bass good on Little George lures along riprap. Report submitted by Larry Green, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Lower Illinois: November 22. Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Trout fair on PowerBait and small lures below the dam and along the spillway. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Oologah: November 22. Elevation normal, water upper 50s. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-15 ft. around brush structure. Report submitted by Brek Henry, game warden stationed in Rogers County.

Perry CCC: November 23. Elevation normal, water murky. Trout good on PowerBait and small lures along shorelines. Report submitted by Doug Gottschalk, game warden stationed in Noble County.

Sooner: November 23. Elevation normal, water murky. Striped bass hybrids and striped bass fair on live shad in the main lake. Report submitted by Doug Gottschalk, game warden stationed in Noble County.

SOUTHEAST

Arbuckle: November 21. Elevation normal, water 59 and clear to stained in the upper arms. White bass good on crankbaits and sassy shad at 5 ft. along creek channels, shallows and upper creek arms. Largemouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, lipless baits, jigs, sassy shad and Long Johns at 4-12 ft. in the main lake, along flats and creek channels. Crappie slow on minnows, jigs and small lures at 12-22 ft. along creek channels, brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Blue River: November 24. Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. Trout excellent on PowerBait, in-line spinnerbaits, spoons, woolly buggers and San Juan worms at 3-6 ft. along channels, sandbars, below waterfalls and riffles. Stocked approximately 4,800 rainbow trout November 11. Smallmouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jigs and in-line spinnerbaits at 4-6 ft. around brush structure, rocks and sandbar; work the lures slowly. Report submitted by Matt Gamble, biologist at the Blue River Public Hunting and Fishing Area.

Eufaula: November 22. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs and crankbaits at 3-15 ft. around docks and points. White bass fair on crankbaits and slabs at 4-10 ft. around points and flats. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad at 5-20 ft. below the dam and in the main lake. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 5-20 ft. around docks and standing timber. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

Lower Mountain Fork: November 24. Stocked 1,534 pounds, approximately 2,400 rainbow trout, on November 19. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary at the Southeast Regional Office.

Robert S. Kerr: November 22. Elevation normal, water clear. Crappie excellent on minnows and hair jigs at 8 ft. along creek channels and standing timber. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits and jerk baits along coves, brush structure and rocks. Blue and channel catfish fair on juglines and drifting shad and cut bait at 12 ft. along the river channel, the main lake and rocks. Report submitted by J.D. Stauffer, game warden stationed in Haskell County.

Texoma: November 22. Elevation normal, water 67 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on plastic baits, crankbaits and jigs with trailers at 5-20 ft. along creek channels, riprap and around points. Striped and white bass fair on live bait, sassy shad and ghost minnows at 10-25 ft. below the dam, in the main lake and along the river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on worms, stinkbait, worms and ghost minnows at 5-20 ft. below the dam, along riprap, coves and active cleaning stations. Crappie, sunfish and white bass fair on tube jigs, minnows, small lures and ghost minnows at 5-15 ft. along creek channels, docks and Widowmoore and Kansas creeks. Paddlefish fair at 5-10 ft. below the dam. Report submitted by Danny Clubb, game warden stationed in Bryan County.

SOUTHWEST

Foss: November 23. Elevation 7 ft. below normal, water 60s and clear. Striped bass hybrids good on live bait and slabs. Walleye fair on live bait. Catfish fair on liver and shrimp. White bass slow. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B&K Bait House.

Tom Steed: November 24. Elevation normal, water 48. Blue and channel catfish slow on cut bait, shad and stinkbait on bottom along flats. Report submitted by David Smith, game warden stationed in Kiowa County.

Waurika: November 23. Elevation normal, water 64. White bass fair on sassy shad along riprap and shorelines. Crappie fair on jigs around brush structure. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, stinkbait and cut bait around points and shorelines. Report submitted by Chris Stover, game warden stationed in Stephens County.
